Disabled people - parking permits - blue badge

Car Badges

Car badges for disabled drivers and passengers (sometimes called 'blue badges') are part of a national arrangement which allows badge holders to park close to their destination.  The national scheme only applies to on street parking.

The car badges are for people with severe walking difficulties who travel either as drivers or passengers, registered blind people and people with very severe upper limb disabilities.

Cumbria County Council provide blue badge's as part of their Adult Social Care service.
