Sports pitches and courts

Carlisle City Council own a number of Sports Facilities across the district. These include:

• The Sands Centre
• The Pools Complex
• Sheepmount Sports Stadium
• Stonyholme Golf Course
• The Swifts Par 3 and driving range
• Bitts Park Tennis Courts and Airdome.

These facilities are managed under contract by Carlisle leisure Limited.

Football pitches can also be booked for sites not managed by Carlisle Leisure Limited by contacting the Greenspaces Team at Bousteads Depot on 01228 817200 or alternatively e-mailing RobertM@carlisle.gov.uk
