Use your Government Gateway Account to access Carlisle services

Carlisle is proud to be one of the first Councils in the country to allow access to their services through your Government Gateway Account.

Government Gateway gives access to many Central Government services such as income tax self-assessment and claiming child benefit. If you have a registered account with the Government Gateway you can now use the same account and password to access your council tax account and if applicable your benefit and/or business rate details. In addition, you will be able to access the Council's Customer Contact System (CRM) directly to track the progress of any service requests you may have made using the Council's electronic forms.

This ability to use a single account to access services at Local and Central Government level, across many agencies, will over time become a major benefit to all citizens.
