Funding for the CDRP

The CDRP receives funding from central government, which is administered through the Local Area Agreement. The CDRP accounts to the Cumbria Strategic Partnership for how the money is spent.

The CDRP also receives funding from Cumbria Constabulary, Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service, Carlisle City Council, Eden District Council and Cumbria County Council. This money is used by the CDRP to deliver local initiatives aimed at tackling crime and disorder and its root causes in the Districts.

The CDRP has a Small Project Fund to encourage local community and business problem solving.
